They are ideal for layering under membrane and trilaminate suits as well. The Arctic Socks utilize fast-wicking, high insulation fabrics to create a micro-climate around the feet, keeping them dry and warm. The inner fleece layer offers superior insulation and comfort, while the outer layer has a water-repellent finish for a snug fit. These socks are designed with less loft needed to achieve effective thermal protection, focusing instead on minimizing air movement around the fibers.
