Zoop Novo from the Finnish brand SUUNTO is undoubtedly one of the most popular diving computers designed for recreational divers starting their adventure with the underwater world.

Contrary to appearances, the computer offers many possibilities for a relatively low price compared to other devices. It has full continuous decompression support based on the SUUNTO RGBM (Reduced Gradient Buuble Model) decompression model, thanks to which the computer estimates the level of both dissolved gas and free gas fraction in the diver's blood and tissues. This model provides additional safety by automatically adapting to a variety of diving situations and profiles.

The computer supports five diving modes: air, nitrox (in the range of 21-50%), diving without a tank with breath hold, depth gauge mode (does not block the algorithm) and disabled mode.

Underwater, the user is automatically warned about all types of threats during diving: too quick ascent, exceeding time limits, planned depth, exceeding the permissible value of partial pressure, etc. The computer also calculates oxygen toxicity for the central nervous system (CNS) and pulmonary toxicity separately. oxygen toxicity expressed in oxygen toxicity units (OTU). The way information is displayed ensures that all warnings and messages will be available and legible in the appropriate phases of the dive. At the same time, sound signals are activated, clearly audible underwater, even with a thick hood. The maximum partial pressure of oxygen can be set in the range of 1.2 - 1.6. The manufacturer recommends diving with this computer model to a depth of 80 meters (the adopted calculation model for tissues includes 120 m as the maximum operating depth).

The computer has an option for deep decompression stops (Deep Stop) that can be turned on or off.

Zoop Novo is equipped with a large, clear, backlit "matrix" LCD display. It is powered by one easily accessible CR2450 battery. An optional USB interface is available, thanks to which we can connect Zoopa Novo with our laptop. The connection is supported by the free Suunto Dive Manager 5 software.

Thanks to the program, we can also easily collect and analyze the most important diving data. The internal memory of the diving computer is approximately 60 hours of continuous diving with recordings sampled every 20 seconds.

A simple, uncomplicated menu allows you to quickly and easily navigate and access the most important functions of your computer. The NoDeco planning mode is also available, taking into account the history of the last four dives (nitrogen remaining in the body).

An additional acrylic glass protects the actual computer display from scratching. If it is damaged, the user can quickly replace it with a new one (the cost is literally several zlotys).

The computer is sold without an interface, a USB cable is available as an option (one universal cable for all Suunto D Novo series computers).

It is also possible to change the attachment to bungee cords, purchased separately.

This model is available in three colors: black, blue and lime. Made in Finland. It has a 2-year manufacturer's warranty and an authorized Polish service.
