The lining is made of 3D Mesh filling which behaves totally different than foam linings. Water can easily penetrate the space inside the lining, which makes it resistant to any changes in the pressure.
As a result, in contrast with foam linings you do not need extra weight to descend, and the lining itself does not become thinner as depth increases.
