Fourth Element Proteus II 3mm Men's Diving Wetsuit Proteus II is Fourth Element high-performance dive wetsuit range, often used as a benchmark for warmth among wetsuits. It combines refined fit, thermal linings and semi-dry details to limit water flushing and keep the diver warmer through the dive.

The 3 mm version is designed for warmer water and travel diving, but uses many features normally associated with thicker suits. Fourth Element recommends it for water temperatures from about 23 C and warmer. Its lower buoyancy and greater flexibility make it a strong choice when comfort and freedom of movement matter.

Materials and thermal construction

Fabric: 90% neoprene and 10% nylon. The Proteus II has a slightly closer fit than many standard suits, especially around seals, to reduce flushing and create a semi-dry feel.

For colder dives, extra comfort can be added with a Thermocline vest and shorts underneath plus a suitable 3 mm or 5 mm hood.
